EMERGENT PRIVACY NOTICE

Emergent Programmatic, LLC (“Emergent”) is firmly committed to protecting user privacy and fostering user confidence in the Internet and digital advertising. We respect the privacy of users of our website and recognize that when you choose to provide us with information about yourself, you trust us to act in a responsible manner with that information.

This Privacy Notice describes the information Emergent collects when you visit the Emergent website (“Website”): https://www.emergentww.com, how the information is used, and how you can manage your privacy choices and exercise your rights in relation to data about you that is collected on the Website.

If you use the Site from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer of your personal information to our systems in the United States.

Emergent is a business which operates in the United States as part of the Performance Media Group which itself is a division of the GroupM media investment group; GroupM is part of the WPP plc group of companies.

Emergent Services

Emergent does not provide its advertising-related services (“Services”) directly to consumers. Instead, our clients are corporate businesses, including advertisers and agencies. Our clients may include other GroupM and WPP group companies, which in turn perform advertising-related services for their own clients.

WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED AND USED BY EMERGENT?

We collect information that enables us to identify your browser and device and tell us which pages within our Website you visit and on which pages you spend the most time. We do this by using the following:

Cookie A small alphanumeric text file that we automatically assign to visitors to our website. It is stored in your browser and allows us to identify your interaction with us.

Pixel A line of code that sits within our webpages which we use to record that you have visited a particular page within our Website.

Children’s Privacy

The Website is not developed for, or directed at, children under the age of 13.  The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) protects the online privacy of children under 13 years of age.  We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data and you would like to have the information removed, please contact us.  If you are a child and wish to ask a question or use the Website in any way which requires you to submit your personal data, please get your parent or guardian to do so on your behalf.
